OCA (Optical Clear Adhesive)

OCA(Optically Clear Adhesive)OCA optical clear adhesive is one of the most important raw material of touch screen. Use optical acrylic glue as non-substant, cover a release film on up and down side. OCA is a kind of non-substant double side bongding tape.

Special Properties

Impact resistance: The tape is required to have sufficient cushioning performance to cope with mechanical shock accidents such as drop, collision and vibration.

Adhesion/sealing: The greatest challenge of lamination capability is to realize the seamless bonding between the touch screen and the display module; moisture and warping are the key influence factors.

Corrosion resistance: Mobile phones, smart watches and other devices are highly exposed to sweat, hand sanitizer and other corrosive chemicals in use; it is challenge for OCA tape to protect the functions of such devices after long-term exposure to those substances.

Weather resistance: In different regions with diverse climatic environments, the uncontrollable environmental conditions, such as dryness, high pressure, low temperature and humidity, have a huge impact, but OCA tape with excellent weather resistance can always maintain its performance stably.

Easy to rework: It is helpful to realize effective, safe and low-cost maintenance and recycling of fragile electronic equipment in the aftermarket.
